Haven Fire and Safety, in partnership with Checkmate Fire Solutions, provide PROTECTION TO BUSINESS CONTINUITY THROUGHOUT THE ARABIAN GULF with effective passive fire system solutions.

If not properly addressed, the issue of building fire zone integrity degradation can have catastrophic effects.

Problem: The fire protection installed in high value buildings of strategic importance will often only meet the minimum requirements of the Building regulations. This minimum specification, only to comply with the need to evacuate the building, will then be compromised by the fitting of cabling and other building services. Contractors will sometimes “make good” using products that do not reinstate fire integrity.

Solution: Having surveyed the building, all damaged fire and acoustic separation is reinstated using fire and acoustic tested products to the required specification. In addition, fire protection in areas of strategic importance can be upgraded.

Retrotec air leakage equipment and software is used to test and certify Comms room enclosures and other areas of great strategic importance

Vipinkumar

Vipinkumar is a seasoned expert with over 27 years of experience in the Fire & Safety industry. Since joining Haven in 1999, he has played a pivotal role in the development and execution of Pre-Engineered Systems, with a specialized focus on Wet Chemical solutions. His deep technical knowledge and hands-on approach have ensured the successful delivery of safety systems across a wide range of industrial and commercial sectors.

In his current role as Assistant Sales Manager, Vipinkumar leads both the sales and engineering functions for Wet Chemical systems, overseeing everything from design to project execution. In addition to his core responsibilities, he also manages Haven Fire’s IT infrastructure—bringing a unique blend of engineering precision and digital fluency to the organization.

Based in Dubai with his family, Vipinkumar is known for his commitment to excellence and his thorough understanding of regional safety standards and market dynamics. His long-standing tenure and multifaceted expertise make him an invaluable asset to Haven’s continued growth and innovation.

Vinay comes with a rich experience of over 24 years in Fire protection & Safety industry in India and the Middle East. His expertise is in project management, design & estimation for oil & gas, power, aviation, and industrial fire protection systems. He also has in depth knowledge in International and local design codes in fire protection systems. He started out as a Project Engineer at Kidde India Ltd , moved on to working for over a decade and a half at Consilium Middle East & Firenor General Contracting at various disciplines and Engineering & proposals manager prior to joining us. In his present role he will oversee our Engineering division playing a key role in our business strategy. Having lived for almost 2 decades in the UAE, he lives with his wife and 2 lovely children in the UAE.
