Arun has 13 plus years of experience in the Fire & Safety Industry. He joined Haven in 2019 as a Senior Sales Engineer handling Sales for the Oil & Gas, Water & Power and Industrial Market for the UAE and Global Market. In his present role as a Business Development Manager, he oversees business development functions for the Oil & Gas , Industrial and Commercial sector. Supporting management in the development of short and long-term plans for growth of the company.
He started his career as a Project Engineer Consilium Middle East and thereafter working his way towards Asst Manager Sales handling sales and marketing for Local and Global Market.
Arun holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, India. He lives in Dubai and has been living here since his school days.
Shivakumar is one of our dedicated sales engineers and joined the company in 2020.
He started his career as a manufacturing engineer focused on design, development and operation in India.
Shivakumar has more than 9 Years experience in the UAE with fire fighting systems & fire suppression for commercial oil and gas industry.
Premalal is Haven Fire and Safety’s Engineering Manager and has been with Haven since the establishment of the company in 1997.
An Electrical Engineer by profession, Premalal has more than 25 years of experience with Fire & Gas and Fire Suppression / Fire Fighting system, particularly for Marine, Offshore and Oil and Gas industry.
He started the career as Power Transformer Design Engineer and also had opportunity to work as Switch Gear design and estimation engineer in Mumbai, India, prior to moving to the Middle East.
Premalal previously worked in Qatar, with Al Sahibeh Establishment for six years as Sales Engineer and was primarily responsible for Fire and Gas detection systems sales, and project execution to a great extent.
Within Haven, during its last 17 years of association, Premalal has worked in various roles – Engineering, Design, Sales, Projects execution and Commissioning.
Originally from Thrissur, cultural capital of Kerala, Premalal has a keen interest in spiritual learnings and is always striving to gain a balanced, healthy, high-achieving life in this constantly challenging and changing world.
Lewis is Haven Fire & Safety’s Sales & Marketing Manager and joined the company in 2018. He is based in our Dubai office.
Lewis is from the UK and has been living in the UAE for the last 7 years. Since graduating from De Montfort University in Leicester Lewis has gathered a wealth of sales experiences throughout his career, starting at Godiva Ltd. Godiva Ltd are a fire pump manufacturer where Lewis worked part time in his last year of university and was offered a full-time position in their After Sales division upon graduating. After 3 years Lewis decided to move on to become After Sales Manager at API Heat Transfer, and after one year was promoted to Sales Manager. Managing a territory of the UK, Benelux, Sweden & South Africa, gaining valuable sales experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, Power Generation, Automotive (Scania OEM) and Off Highway industries for over 3 years. Lewis decided to move to Dubai in 2016 enjoying a brief spell in digital marketing before returning to what he knows best, Fire and Safety.

Gerry has more than 40 years’ experience within the Fire Industry, originally starting out as an apprentice in the Chubb Group back in the 1970s and working through Design / Engineering roles prior to moving into Export Sales / Major Projects. This led to a GCC based Regional Sales role in 1981 and Gerry has been based in the UAE since that date, gaining a vast experience over several key market sectors and disciplines including Fire Suppression, Fire & Gas Detection and Service within the Industrial, Commercial, Marine and Onshore / Offshore Petroleum Oil & Gas Sectors.
Gerry’s goal is to continue to provide first class system solutions, products and services with Haven Fire’s Principals who include world leaders in the Industry, backed up by the Company’s strong locally based Sales, Engineering and Support Staff, growing the organisation and embracing new technologies / developing further as needed.
As a long term UAE resident, Gerry’s family have grown up in Dubai and he has 4 grown children and 8 grandchildren living in the UAE and the UK. Gerry’s interests include travel, flying and motor sport.
