Fire Eater A / S was founded in 1974 by Aage Laursen. The founder's enthusiasm to develop new fire protection methods, was for several years the foundation and motivation in the Fire Eater.

Fire Eater INERGEN® is an environmentally friendly extinguishing agent, consisting of gases which are already present naturally in the earth's atmosphere. It is an inert gas, which means that it takes no part in the combustion process. INERGEN® contains no liquid, is non-toxic and non-flammable.
The unique feature of INERGEN® is that it contains 8% CO2
CO2 has a physiological effect which ensures that the body absorbs oxygen. This allows the body to absorb as much oxygen as it would in a normal atmosphere.
For this reason, INERGEN® is harmless to people, machines and equipment and does not affect the environment.
